The wool has a nice weight to it without being scratchy, and the grey shade goes with almost everything I own. It keeps my neck and face warm during my bike commute without feeling too tight or restrictive.

I’ve been wearing it on colder morning walks and the wool is thick enough to block wind but not itchy at all. The pearl knit texture adds just enough visual interest to make it feel less utilitarian.

The knit is dense enough that I don’t feel the wind cutting through on morning walks, though the pearl texture does take a bit of getting used to against bare skin. For a secondhand piece, it’s held up well and drapes more like a structured hood than a flimsy neck warmer.
