The green is a deep, almost olive tone that looks way better in person, and the oversized pockets are perfect for carrying everything without looking bulky. They’ve got that signature dropped crotch that makes them feel instantly edgy, even with a simple tee.

The cotton is much sturdier than I expected from a pre-owned pair, and the green has this great military feel that works with almost anything in my closet.

The green cotton is even richer in person, and the 26” waist fits true to my usual 36—no surprises. Inseam hits perfectly at 33”, so I didn’t need tailoring. These are already my go-to for layering this season.
