The lace loops are positioned closer together than on my other sneakers, which actually gives them a snugger retro feel. They’ve got some nice character from being used, and the sole still has plenty of grip for daily wear.

I was a little worried about the fit with them being used, but the retro sizing feels true to the era—snug in the heel with just enough room in the toe box. The leather has some nice, subtle creasing that adds character without looking beat.

The retro fit is exactly what I wanted—they sit lower and slimmer than the newer Margiela models. The leather is soft with a nice patina from wear, and the soles show honest scuffing but no major damage. Fit true to size for a slim foot, and they break in quickly.
