The wool is genuinely thick and substantial, and the double-breasted front gives it that proper naval look. I've worn it in brisk wind and stayed perfectly warm without layering too much underneath.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this used peacoat has held up—the double-breasted front still buttons securely and the navy color looks almost new.

The wool feels dense and substantial, just what you want for a cold commute. A few minor signs of wear on the buttons but nothing that takes away from the classic look.
