The leather is surprisingly sturdy for a used pair, and the lace-up shaft fits my calves perfectly without being too tight. I’ve already worn them out twice and gotten compliments on the platform height.

The platform sole gives just the right amount of height without feeling unstable, and the leather still has that nice, stiff Dr.Martens quality even used. They took a bit of effort to lace all the way up, but the tall silhouette is exactly the dramatic look I was going for.

I was a little worried about the fit since they're used, but the laces let me adjust them perfectly around my calves. The platform gives just the right amount of height without being uncomfortable, and the black leather has held up really well.
